The Doge's Restaurant is located in the ancient cellars of Villa Manin and on the upper floor, which has occupied the Barchessa di Ponente since the 1970s, when the building and its annexes were expropriated by the Region and restored by the Venetian Villas Authority, with the collaboration of the Superintendency of Monuments of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

We were with friends for Christmas lunch, a very elegant and characteristic place, one of a kind.The fish menu was very pleasant, we had a very good time and were pampered, the waitress Stefania was very kind.Highly recommended.

During a concert, when the staff were not allowed to let people in without reservation (probably because there were so many people, the restaurant is literally inside the concert venue), someone working there was kind enough to let me and a friend in who had traveled from abroad and hadn't eaten and served us.Thanks!

Aperitif with a magnificent view!Leaving aside the enchanting place, the girl who served us was really kind and attentive to our needs, it doesn't seem like much, but without even asking she provided snacks and added water to my girlfriend's cocktail. Highly recommended
